Reading is a gift that keeps on giving

Reading is an essential skill needed for academic success as well as accessing everyday information. While all students are expected to read fluently by 3rd grade, many students struggle in this area. In fact, lesson than half of American 4th graders read at grade level. This problem can only lead to ongoing problems with comprehension of information in both reading and all other academic areas. However, we don't have to accept this bleak outlook for our students. At Lotus Literacy, we believe that every student is deserving of quality reading instruction.

The Lotus Mission

We make reading accessible and enjoyable by removing the hurdle of "struggle" when it comes to reading. Our individual tutoring sessions allows personalized instruction to ensure that every student has a firm foundation in phonemic awareness and phonics. Also, we read A LOT here. In addition to building fluency and comprehension, we are determined to help this generation discover the JOY OF READING!
